We All Belong Here: A Symphony for Everyone

Authentic, Inclusive Storytelling in Action
We All Belong Here is a four-episode digital series that follows the experiences of concertgoers—from musicians and lifelong fans to first-timers and everyone in between—as they attend live Chicago Symphony Orchestra performances at Symphony Center.
At the heart of the series is Mode Project’s signature storytelling approach: grounded, human, and real. By capturing unscripted moments of discovery, emotion, and connection, each episode invites viewers into the CSO experience in a way that feels personal and welcoming. Whether it’s a family's first visit, a couple rediscovering their love for live music, or newcomers swept up in the orchestra’s energy, the series helps people see themselves in the music—and in the concert hall.

Real Connection
Authenticity isn’t a buzzword—it’s a strategy for connection. When stories reflect real people and real emotions, they resonate. We All Belong Here is built around emotionally compelling, truth-driven storytelling that moves people to feel—and when people feel, they’re more likely to think differently, engage, and take action.
The CSO Marketing team wanted to broaden their audience and reframe the symphony experience as inclusive, accessible, and one-of-a-kind in Chicago. This series helps challenge outdated assumptions—that orchestras are only for certain people, or that you need to “know” classical music to enjoy it.

“The videos are getting used for lots of different marketing campaigns we have running right now, and they are performing wonderfully. Thanks again for all of the great work that the Mode team put into making them so great!”
— Dana [Last Name], CSO Marketing

Production + Design + Editing
All Under One Roof
Mode brings the full CSO concert experience to life through a blend of documentary-style storytelling, thoughtful design, and expressive animation—all aligned with the Orchestra’s core message. Our design and animation team transformed CSO photographer Todd Rosenberg’s stills into motion graphics that enhance the emotional impact of the series. With video production, design, animation, editing, and story development all in-house, we’re able to expand what’s possible.

“Engagement in social media is what it’s all about. Mode Project’s doc-style storytelling hits just the right note - we’re seeing a lot of clicks and shares on this work!”
- Ryan TBD, Head of Marketing, CSO

Relatable Content = Real Results
When content is relatable, it connects. That’s the goal: to create authentic stories that people recognize themselves in. It’s the kind of storytelling that elevates organizations and communities by revealing shared humanity—and it’s an important part of our mission at Mode. Partnering with the CSO on this project speaks to the heart of what drives us: creating work that resonates, reaches further, and reflects our shared humanity. We All Belong Here doesn't just tell stories—it helps reshape perceptions and open doors, which is the kind of impact we’re here for.
